There hyou go swearing again Mike LOL!!!

I hope "everybody" had a great Thanksgiving Day! We couldn't be with family this year, so we just ate in the mess hall and it was great! If any of you guys need to be on the highway, just drive safe and know we are praying for your safety.

Gee...I almost forgot why I responded to this thread. I'm really looking forward to going to the Annual Fan Club Party & Sally Mountain Festival. It sounds like a lot of fun. It may be 215 days away, but reminders are great.

Hi Catherine!!!

Hope you're having a great afternoon!!!
Hi Rhonda,

It's been a great day so far!  It's getting a little cold here in Missouri & it looks like a little snow for tomorrow. It's one of those days that you want to put some great music on the stereo and bury your head in a good book. How has your day been?

I'm working in the office today.......but I'm gonna see if Dear Herby will take me out to a movie tonight.

He's snoring on the couch right now....with a football game blarring on TV.  Earlier we were excited to sign up our friend Jay Nixon for the bluegrass cruise; then he started talking about how Jay was in St Louis today, and that he would be on TV, and I was confused at his ramblings for awhile, then he just said to ask Gary "football guru" Kennedy, and he would explain.  Which BTW, Gary....put on your thinking cap, cause in honor of all the sports ramblings here on the MB, I sing what I believe to be a "sports term" in one of the new songs I wrote for the new project; which will be in one of the contests on Journey II 2009.  Just an FYI and HU!
I've also been setting up a room with a big flat screen TV with a DVR for recording Law & Order, Starter Wife, and House; all of my very own.
Someone deleted them from the other TVs, when they kept filling up and freezing up the TVs.
How's your day???

Ha Ha Ha.....every woman needs her own TV..especially for watching "House" & "Starter Wife."  OK...also CMT. Otherwise our horizons would never be broadend with anything but sports!

Prez, You didn't give me my wake-up call. See what I missed? Now RV wants me to take her to a movie. I tell ya....I guy just can't get any rest.

Gary Kennedy

I'm afraid that I don't know the answer to your question about Nixon, so I hope you'll "pardon" me.  I'll have to appoint a Special Prosecutor to investigate.  Is this the same Jay Nixon who was just elected governor of the great state of Missouri, after 16 years as the "Law and Order" Attorney General?  Does Dear Herby really pal around with Democrats?  Instead of St. Louis, the Governor-elect should be in Kansas City for the Missouri-Kansas game.  RHONDA, I'm sure that you'll be watching every play along with Herby.

I'm having a wonderful holiday weekend.  I have three straight days off work and I could really get used to this.  I read somewhere that people on the west coast never work, so I'm just trying to fit in around here.  I just got home from a five-mile beach walk and an unusually energetic workout at the gym.  I need to work off all of that tofurkey that I ate yesterday.  It was somewhat cloudy at the beach, so I brought a sweatshirt, but I didn't need it.  It was perfect walking weather, although they tell me that an Uncloudy Day is better for Dear Hunting at the beach.

Herb, this must be very exciting for you to have the great RHONDA VINCENT home to watch all of the football and basketball games with you this weekend.  I'm actually more of a basketball fan myself, so I'm hoping that OHIO STATE will be able to repeat last year's national championship (they won the NIT......okay, now we're really reaching).  The biggest problem with college basketball is that they always have that incredibly exciting tournament to determine the national championship.  Why can't they just let computers decide it?

The most intriguing games are tomorrow, although I'm completely lost without the Swami's predictions.  Somehow I suspect that the best matchup of the weekend will be Vincent vs. Sandker.  There's always a lot of trash-talking in that rivalry, but it seems to be based upon mutual respect.

I heard that there was a big traffic jam at our local mall today, so I didn't go anywhere near the place.  Apparently, everyone decided to go shopping because I turned 670 months old today.  To be honest, I don't feel a day over 669!

Happy Thanksgiving weekend to the entire Rager Nation!

Pal around with Democraps????? Are you kidding me??? I can't even spell it correctly. The Jay Nixon I know, didn't run for office, but I commend you on knowledge about Missouri politics.
The Jay Nixon I know lives in Kahoka, Mo. and is a good friend of mine. He has a son playing football for the Clark County Indians, who by coincidence is playing for the MSHAA championship tomorrow at the Edward D. Jones Dome in St. Louis. Jay just got a new kidney transplant recently and is feeling much better. So well, that he is going on the Bluegrass Cruise. Jay is a hoot, and I know everyone will enjoy his personality and presence on the ship.

As far as Mizzou/Kansas goes. Yes there will be some trash talking around here tomorrow. She'll be doing the talking, and I'll be taking out the trash.
Since I have to take her out to a movie tonight, she'll have to sit and watch the football game tomorrow, without interruption, and with no complaints. Sounds fair to me. How about you?
The Swami has been a little lazy lately. All the rivalry games don't seem as important  as the regular season. Most don't carry the pizzazz they have in the past. Not as much on the line. My interest isn't peaked as much. Just wait till next week when all the conference championship games are played. Swami will have his predictions hat on then. Then the bowl games....
Lets not forget the importence of next Thursday as well. My pool league team "The Knuckleheads" are playing for first place and the fall championship. We have a double header next week, and we come in with a 1 match lead. The tension at Leisure World next week will be tremendous. You will be able to cut it with a knife. It won't be for the faint of heart. I'm hoping to win 9 out of 10 matches. This will secure the championship for us, no matter what the 2nd place team does. Actually, there are only 3 matches separating the 1st place team from 4th. Keep your fingers and toes crossed. Rhonda will undoubtedly be there with her chearleading outfit on. Can't wait for that!!!!!
Mike B
Herby - what is your forecast for the Iron Bowl tomorrow?  This could be the year for the boys in Crimson.  It seems that an offhand remark by me earlier this year not only incurred the wrath of a certain Buckeye fan, but doomed my beloved Auburn Tigers to an awful record this season.
