Congratulations to the Utah Utes for winning their very first undisputed college football national championship.
The Swami now stands at 15-16 with 3 games to go. The opportunity to mathematically eliminate the Swami from contention for a winning season could provide with the added incentive that they need. The Swami's disdain for the Big Ten has been well-documented, so look for the THE OHIO STATE BUCKEYES to come out extremely fired up. BUCKEYES Meanwhile, I just can't seem to escape the paparazzi. I was at my credit union yesterday and the restroom was closed, so I decided to walk next door to use the facilities at the Marriott. When I arrived, there were about 50 people with cameras waiting for me. I don't even know how they knew that I was going to be there. At about the same time, a couple of buses full of very large men pulled up at the entrance. One of them was a dead ringer for Peyton Manning. Anyway, that seemed to distract the paparazzi long enough for me to make my escape.
Lucky for you Peyton was there to relieve the pressure of the press. I've heard celebrities can have a tough time with the press.
If you want, I can have Julia start doing "advance press" for you. This way, you'll know when it's coming, and can avoid if you like. Back to football...You know GLK, the way things have been going in the Bowls, THE Ohio St. might have a chance in Arizona. I really thought they shouldn't even show up, and Texas would kill 'em, but, if Iowa can win, anything is possible. Basketball...In an unrelated story, the Mizzou Tigers just beat the Georgia Bulldawgs in Athens. This only proves 1 thing....Georgia must have a rotten basketball team, cause Mizzou is a .500 team at best.

It proves that the Dawgs have a rotten basketball team. After all, last week UGA scheduled, And, LOST TO, that juggernaut from Texas A&M at Corpus Christi ( NOT the real A&M from College Station, TX). I think that our record now stands at a sterling 9 - 6 mark. On the brighter side, UGA won't be in March Madness again, which will allow me to pick the tournament brackets at work without the burden of any "emotional attachment" to my team - I can be 100 % objective in makin' my picks.
