Congratulations Gary on your San Diego Chargers win over the Colts!
Since your NFL team won last night, I think it only fair that you relinquish all rights to cheer for the buckeyes on Monday and focus all your energy and good will toward the (who should be in in the National Championship game anyway LONGHORNS ). So thanks in advance for rooting for the !! LONGHORNS Your Best Friend Forever,( ) Kimberly
That Post should fire Brutus up. If he was a Car Engine his Pistons would be changing Holes! I can't wait for him to read that. Mike G.
I think his deep rooted love for the Texas Longhorns will supersede his past allegiance for his alma mater, and cause him to pull for the Big 12 tomorrow night. He knows it would be the right thing to do.
Of course he might be distracted too much to watch the game after reading all those press clippings of his. I've seen signs of this lately. He's even slipped behind Sassy in the race for Rhonda Vincent show attendance supremacy. He's even been seeking the attention of other female superstars like Erin Andrews. This surely won't sit well with the Queen. Gary, I don't even know if "Dear Herby" can help you out of this mess. Congratulations to the Chargers, and "Hook 'em Horns"
Hook, Hook, Hook 'em Horns!
This is undoubtedly the highlight of my long and illustrious career. I've traveled all across the
and to many foreign lands (i.e. the Bahamas) just to see the legendary Kimberly Williams. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever suspect that she actually knew my name. However, now that we're BFFs, I would like to request that the Williams and Clark Expedition start performing that old bluegrass standard which goes a little something like this: UNITED STATES of AMERICA Please be ready to sing it Monday night!
Gary, Gary, Gary,
I recall a converstaion with you in Summersville, WV last year regarding your posts on the Rhonda Vincent Message Board and how much I enjoyed reading them because they were always, without fail, intelligent and funny. I am so saddened that you have indeed failed me and the rest of the community with the previous ridiculously lame post. Where is the intelligent Gary that we all know and love? Could it be that he partied a little too much with the Chargers and has simply not gotten his wits about him? Poor, poor Gary. At least you still have your sense of humor. Without that, the previous post really would have been a waste of cyberspace. Afterall, the buckeyes college level band playing "Hang On Sloopy" is about the most hysterical thing I ever heard. I remember when I played in the band. I started in the 6th grade and I believe, yes, "Hang On Sloopy" was the first song we learned to play. Ahh the memories!
I believe there are enough of us common folk that will be pulling for the TEXAS LONGHORNS tonight. All of us cannot be famous you know. Way back in my younger years (1963-1978) I was a TEXAS LONGHORN FAN. I liked Coach Darrell Royal. Somewhere between 1976 and 1978 I started pulling for the GEORGIA BULLDOGS. But, I still like the LONGHORNS! Hook Em' Horns!
Kimberly, it seems like you're a little bit on edge lately. Do the Longhorns not have enough fans, so that you're forced into feeble attempts to recruit new ones? Don't tell me that the mighty Texas Longhorns, the best team in the country and representatives of the powerful Big 12 conference, which regular readers of this message board are well aware is vastly superior to any other conference, including the AFC and NFC, are afraid of the lowly co-
of the pathetic Big 10. From what I hear, the Longhorns are going to play their second-string, just to try to make the game somewhat interesting. The starters are planning to stay in the hotel and get a head start on celebrating what everyone knows will be an easy Texas victory. CHAMPIONS Kimberly, I am soooooooo sorry that my previous post wasn't "intelligent" enough for your standards. In the interest of furthering your musical education, I would like to inform you that TBDBITL has been playing "Hang On Sloopy" since I was in the sixth grade back during the Johnson Administration (not Andrew). Here's another clip to help you get ready for the game:
THAT'S more like it! Glad to have you back!! GO LONGHORNS!!!! BTW...we are really going to miss you on the cruise this year! Karaoke is just not the same without your infamous impersonations of "Patty" Benatar!
Kimberly, you've always been such a loyal fan and I appreciate your support. Hopefully, someday I will be able to go on another
Bluegrass Cruise and do my Patty Benatar impersonation for you. Some people think that I do an even better Avril Lavigne impersonation, although I've been very upset with her ever since I found out that she's a Texas Longhorns' fan. RHONDA VINCENT
Her wardrobe is not as good as Rhonda's either LOL! Rhonda looks better on Jeans too!!!
Uh, huh! Go Horns! Sorry, GLK, but with Kimberly and I rooting on the Longhorns, there's no way they weren't going to beat the Buckeyes! Now, if the Titans would only win the Super Bowl, it'll be a SWEEP!
Yes, Shay, I too am very excited about the
win last night. I do however have to say, that I was really worried the Longhorns were not going to recover after the Longhorns buckeyes last TD. And I have to give credit to Ohio, they played a good game for the most part and I do believe the "late hit" penalty on McCoy that the buckeyes received was not warranted but it kinda made up for the unnecessary slamming of McCoy in the end zone that he received in an earlier play. Gary, I laughed the first couple of times the buckeyes band played "Hang On Sloopy" but then it got so irritating that it brought out the very worst in me. Every time they played it at warp speed and I just don't get it. Then again, Blake said I turned into a complete idiot last night and he had never seen anything quite like it. I will try not to do that again. Everyone have a great day and go listen to some Bluegrass!!
So, how about those
You should be very proud of the Buckeyes. I thought they played a very good game. It was a very entertaining game to watch also. I hope the game on Thursday is as good.
