Hello All,
I wanted you to know that Fred's dad, Boyd Black passed away yesterday at the Hospice Home after a tremendous fight with cancer.  Fred was beside him until the very end along with his mother and brother.  Please remember him and our family as we face such a tough time.

Hang in there. Like everyone else, you're in our thoughts & prayers

Having lost my dad to cancer just over 3 yrs ago, I can identify with the loss, Fred and family will certainly be in my prayers.

Thank you everyone for your kind words, thoughts and prayers.  They really help.
Today, someone at my church remembered that they had this recording of my dad singing and emailed it to me... below is a link to it.
This solo was sung by my dad, Boyd Black on March 17, 2002 at a WENOCA reunion  concert.  I believe the group is what used to be the AT&T Chorus.  Just think what Heaven sounds like tonight!
