I got a call this morning about 6:15am from Sacramento, California from my uncle Fred Diehl. His wife Bobbi, went to be with the Lord.

Some of you may have met them in past years when Rhonda was in Grass Valley, or Chico.

Bobbi had been in failing health for the past few weeks, with kidney and liver failure. She died at home with her family by her side.

I'll always remember the time I went out there to spend a week with them. I was 18, and it was my first time on an airplane. Bobbi was very talented. She was born with only 1 arm. She could hang a shirt on a hanger and button the buttons faster than I could. Try that with 1 arm tied behind your back sometime.

My grandmother always confused Uncle Freddy and me. Aunt Bobbi said we were just alike in just about everything we do. (He always was a handsome feller. )

My Grandma Diehl raised 4 kids. Thelma (my Mom) Freida, Freddy, and Venita.
Bobbi was my Moms sister in law.

Aunt Bobbi raised 3 kids...Ronnie, Rhonda, and Janie, and had 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. She will be missed by all.

She enjoyed life to its fullest. Rest in Peace aunt Bobbi Diehl

The angels are always near to those who are grieving, to whisper to them that their loved ones are safe in the hand of God.

Herb,

I am so sorry for your loss.  It's not easy when loved ones leave us. The only solace we have is that we know we will see them again.  You and your family are in our prayers.
