That's really strange! I clicked on the link I posted and it worked just fine for me. Maybe it's the browser you are using? Do you have a firewall up that may prevent that website from coming up? I'm really not sure.

Hey Katie,

What browser are you using to open the page? I've tried Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox with no troubles.

Going to the right web page, but using IE.... which could be the issue... I'll have to download Firefox and see if that makes a difference.

NBT Fan,

I tried the link and it comes up.  Tell me about your Operating System and what version of internet explorer you are running. Let's see what we can do for you.

Hi again,

I went to Google and typed in the error message you received.  The link below will bring you to a Microsoft help page that explains the steps.  If the link will not open, I pasted the fix for you.  Keep me posted.

To resolve this issue:
  1. In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the Tools menu.
  2. In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
  3. Click to clear the HTTP 1.1 check box, and then click OK.
  4. Test to determine if the issue is resolved. If the issue is resolved, do not complete the remaining steps. If the issue is not resolved, go to the next step.
  5. In Internet Explorer, click Internet Options on the Tools menu.
  6. In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Advanced tab.
  7. Click to clear the Show friendly HTTP error messages check box.
  8. Try to view a Web page to reproduce the error message and to receive a new, more descriptive error message. This new error message may be similar to the following:
HTTP version not supported by program name.
Note the name of the program in this new error message.
  9. The program name that you noted in step 8 may be the cause of this issue. Either remove this program, or contact the manufacturer of the program to inquire about the availability of a fix for this issue.

A little more information about this issue.

I have tried to access the website from 2 laptops and 2 desktops and all are using Hughesnet satellite modems.

I took out the "friendly" http error message option and killed 1.1 in the advanced options for IE.  Running IE7 on the 2 laptops and IE8 on the 2 desktops.  Both laptops are running Vista, 1 desktop is running XP, and 1 is running the new Windows product.

After all of this has been done the error message has been stripped to this.....

DNS lookup error

DNS lookup error

When I researched this error message here is what I found out:

The DNS server does not have a record of the website or the web server is not connected.

Is is possible that the Hughesnet DNS server has no record of this website????  Who fixes that???

HELP y'all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
