Of course I'll still love you, Shay......just as long as you don't cut off your hair. In fact, I'll probably even still love Kimberly, but please don't tell her. I'm playing hard to get and waiting for her to hit me with her best shot.
Sorry to disappoint you, Shay, but there isn't going to be any trash talking. I'll be pleasantly surprised if the Fiesta Bowl is even close. Our defense hasn't seen any offenses like the Longhorns. This isn't going to be like playing the michigan (3-9) wolverines. If the Longhorns "Gore" the , does this mean that the Supreme Court is going to step in and overturn the actual result? On second thought, Texas is getting exactly what they deserve in the BCS. This is payback for giving us that BUCKEYES politician!
There are no hanging chads in the BCS Poll!!!!
I'll have all the Bowl picks next week.
GLK....I wouldn't worry about the past President, the one that takes office January 20th has me scared!!!!! I wish him good luck nonetheless!!! He has big shoes to fill!!!!!
You're right again, Herby. Those are enormous shoes. I've seen the footprints all over our precious
Constitution! UNITED STATES I'm still finding it hard to believe that this horror show is almost over. I just wish he would stop saying that he's going to leave on January 20th. That leads me to believe that he isn't going to leave on January 20th. It's been a long, grueling ordeal and I never would have gotten through the past eight years without those 185 concerts that I attended.....but who's counting? RHONDA VINCENT 6 more weeks......6 more weeks......but who's counting?
This is just my opinion. He has already left!!!
Well, this thread is getting just a bit too political for me. But just allow me to remind you guys to look at your pay stubs in 4 years and tell me you're happy with the outcome. And as Forrest Gump, my fellow Alabamian, would say, "That's all I have to say about that."
Now, onto much more pleasant news (not to mention getting steered back on topic), I am so very proud of my Alabama Crimson Tide and the season they have had. There can be absolutely no debate that this year has exceeded all expectations and, while we're disappointed to lose to Florida in the SEC Championship Game, there is no doubt that we lost to a better team. And perhaps Tim Tebow is everything they say he is and more. He threw the ball magnificently on Saturday night, and threw it right where he had to throw it. And credit Coach Urban Meyer and his staff for recruiting the athletes that Tebow needed to catch the ball. A great performance by both teams until Alabama got outmanned and outplayed in the fourth quarter. But there is no shame in Tuscaloosa this year because the future looks very bright indeed. The committment list for '09 is very impressive and those already committed for 2010 is a veritable Who's Who of high school football. Oh, yes ... the spirit of the Bear lives 25 years after his death. Once again, the Crimson Tide Nation can hold our heads high knowing that we will, once again, be in the National Championship conversation for some time to come. So now it's on to the Utah Utes. No pushover, for sure .. a very worthy opponent, but one I feel confident that can be overcome by my beloved Crimson Tide. Here's to Florida taking care of business against Oklahoma, and Bama running the Utes right out of the Superdome. Roll Tide Roll, baby! - Bama p.s. - I wouldn't want to be *ANY* Ohio State University right about January 5th. I can feel a (3rd) major butt whoopin' a-brewing in Austin.
Obama has it all set for Ohio State. With his spread the wealth around policy he has it all taken care of. Texas & Ohio State will play to a tie. Everyone that has a ticket to the game gets a coupon for a free tank of gasoline. If you watch the game on TV you will get a coupon for $5.00 of your Utility Bill. If you are a Michigan or Syracuse Fan since you had such a bad year of College Football you get Free Hot dogs at all Home Games next year! That should help everyone feel better about Football, Country and Life. We are on our way! Mike G.
At least we wont be a hearin "Your doing a great job Brownie"! for eight more years!!!

You will not receive any of Unca Barack's Ultimate Giveaway (and Wealth Re-Distribution) Plan unless you add an one PSI to each tire prior to leaving for the office each and every morning. - Bama
Bama, I couldn't agree more with all you said. I think folks are in for a rude awakening, and don't know how well they,ve had it the past 8 years. I know 1 thing for sure, since the election, I don't feel as safe as I did before, nor can I stand the thought of Pelosi/Reid/Obama running our country. It's worse than the thought of Al "the I can't win my own state of Tennessee" Gore, and John "Heinze ketchup" Kerry rolled into 1.
Looks like the Democratic congress has agreed to bail out the automakers. I wish I knew this money existed. Then I could open my restaurant back up, and heck if nobody comes in to eat, I just get the gov't to send me operating money for the next 3 months. Send them a business plan, and collect again in 3 months. I just wasn't a good business person I guess. Alabama has nothing but good things to look forward to in football. The future is bright, and this was probably a little early for their title run. look out in 2009 and 10. Mike G. I hope spreading the wealth only costs me a hot dog or 2. But, unfortunately, I think those 1000 dollar rebates going to those who don't have homes and make less than 100,000 per year will most certainly put people to work building more houses and stimulate the economy. I know if I didn't have a job, and someone offered me $1000 I would be inclined to get off my butt and find work. President "Robin Hood" Obama will find this doesn't work. Since I will get to pay 50% taxes for the next 4 years (hopefully no longer than that) I'd better get back to work, since I will need to work twice as much to clear the same. Go OHIO STATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Could we please get back to the football discussion on the Rhonda Vincent message board????
I think you were having a "moment"! I'm pretty sure I just read, "Go Ohio State" and I know you couldn't have meant that! Didn't you mean, "Hook 'Em Horns"??? Shay
Gee! Why don't we bring back Naughty Newt. Trerrible Tom DeLay and of course the all time favorite Larry Craig. Then all of our problems will be solved LOL! I lost my job four years ago and no one came to my rescue. I don't believe the Dems were in power either! I see even Joe the plumber is dissin the Republican ticket. How quick things change! Trickle down economics Tell that to the guy at the drive-in window at Mc D's!!!
The Ol' Dawg
I think it's time for us all to chill out and put some Christmas music on the CD player and remember that this is the season that is supposed to be all about Peace on Earth and Goodwill to men......it's not really shining thru here lately!!!
