I hope that this isn't off topic, but I couldn't find any place to discuss the great RHONDA VINCENT on this message board, so I've decided to hijack this thread.

As luck would have it, my nephew will be graduating from college in OHIO on May 24th.  So I'm thinking that I might try to swing by Sparta, TN on the 23rd to see the amazing RHONDA VINCENT and the RAGE at the Lester Flatt Memorial Bluegrass Day.

If you haven't already done so, I recommend that you immediately stop reading this nonsense and click on the link to that festival.  It's probably the coolest thing ever, even better than all of the smiley fellas waving at the same time.  Sorry Sami, but it just is.  It's like having the legendary Blake Williams right in your living room.

Please accept my humble apology for being late to today's debate, but I was at work.  Fortunately, I won't have to worry about that after January 20th, because Barack is going to give me all of Garlock's money.

Bama, I'm inclined to agree with you about having political discussions on the RHONDA VINCENT Message Board.  I think I started this one, so I'll Take The Blame.  I already spend way too much time on political issues, so I usually come to this board hoping to get away from that.  The basic problem with having political discussions is that we're all sure that we're right and everybody wants to have the last word.  The only way to solve that dilemma is for everyone to admit that I'm right and let me have the last word.

We have millions of loyal readers all around the world who visit this website every day for the latest news.  So we're under a great deal of pressure to give them diverse views on a vast array of topics.  The LEADER of this close-knit community has stated in the past that she wants this message board to be fair and balanced, so I was brought in to counteract all of the Palinistas.  By the way, I didn't notice anyone saying that the board was getting too political during that Sarah Palin Lovefest after her debate with Joe the Biden.  It was like Woodstock with guns around here.

Herby, we need to work together and put an end to the Price-Anderson Act.  We've now had over fifty years of government bailouts for the nuclear power industry and they still want more.  That's just plain socialism!

Tom Alman, let's try to be fair.  When he was praising "Brownie", he thought that he was talking to Texas Coach Mack Brown, who actually is doing a heckuva job.  I still think that he should be in the championship game.  (Julia, please notice the brilliant segue from politics to football.  We are now officially back on track.)

Okay, back to football.  Has anyone informed that the great RHONDA VINCENT that the Capitol One Bowl has decided to honor her request when Michigan State faces Georgia?  All players and fans have agreed to wear Christmas colors!!!!!

Wow! I don't know what GLK said but it was somethin alright. That would make a politician blush LOL! I sure hope those Bulldawgs don't hurt us too badly. They have a pretty good offense. I'm not sure our defense will be up to the task. Hopefully it will be a great game both ways! Now was that diplomatic Prez???

My articulate friend from UM West is right. If he had all of Mike Garlocks money, he could retire, and not worry about anything except football, bluegrass, and the beaches in San Diego. WOW!!!! Now that would be living!!!!

Gary, never worry about getting off topic here, the Prezs' bark is much worse than her bite. Besides, I've got a shock collar that fits her perfectly. I mainly use it during baseball season, but, I can bring it out during Christmas too.

You never want to talk about religion or politics while on stage, but on the MB a little Obama bashing never hurt anyone.  As far as Sarah Palin goes, well you know the "Dear Herby" motto...I never pick on women!!!! Especially one that is as sweet and talented as she is.

Nope, no need for apologies. We're all friends on here, and "stirring the pot" sometimes is not all bad.

I'm not an Obama supporter (what a shock) but I am an American, and wish him well in office. He is my President for better or worse. (hopefully for the better...just got my IRA statement in the mail today....YIKES!!!!!!)

Wow!  Gary Kennedy in Sparta, TN!

Our mayor is already thrilled and excited to have Rhonda coming here.  When I tell him that the infamous Gary Kennedy is coming too, he might just decide to throw in a parade to kick things off and ask Gary to be the Grand Marshall.  He might also decide that rather than offering the Rhonda Vincent concert for free to everyone, he might want to go ahead a charge....say...a dollar to see Gary Kennedy.  After all, the job he did with "Patty" Benetar's "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" on a past cruise is truly legendary and I for one would certainly pay a dollar to hear it again!!

Now back to the nonsense....
