Hawaii was nice.
Niagra Falls was outstanding.
Mike & Brenda Garlock's Tiki Bar is one of the Top 10 Places to visit in the USA.

But tonight Columbus was a great place to be.  Wonderful to be back on the road with my Rage mates.  We've had a very nice day of sharing stories....from the birth of Jackson Cooper to Yogi's Eye Surgery to Darrell's Fishing Adventures to Hunter Body Surfing at Myrtle Beach to Kenny & Kaye enjoying time at home.

We performed at 10:45pm for a crazy crowd. They were yelling songs and comments. (Some I cannot repeat here, since this is a family board.)
But one of the highlights was when we were joined by "Sami",
the birthday girl.

We sang Happy Birthday to her.....THEN, she made her debut as our train whistle on Passin' of the Train. Treva has photos; and Gary Kennedy was a witness.

I signed for a long while, and now I'm unpacking from our vacation travels.

Can't seem to change back from Hawaii time.  Guess I might as well keep my sleeping pattern on that time zone, until we return from our Northwestern Journey that begins in a week or so; when we visit Idaho and Wyoming.

Hope to see many of you there, in Van Wert, Ohio tomorrow, OR in Rutlege, TN on Saturday!!!!

Sleepless in Sville.   Glad you had a great show! Work has been crazy, so I am up thinking about all I have to do today when I get to work

Greetings Rhonda,
Glad to have you back on the main land safe and sound. Hawaii is so beautiful and there is nothing like it but then again there is nothing like being back on the main land!
Can't wait for you to come West. I know your sick of hearing me say this but we need to get this side of our Country rag'in.
Have a great weekend and always remember " your Missouri Moon"! Karen
Good Morning Rhonda, Susan and Karen!

Good morning ladies! The morning crew has arrived LOL!!!

Crazy in Columbus
Hello from the Northwest Branch Library in beautiful Columbus, OHIO.  I just spent two wonderful days at the MACC and now I'm waiting to drive to Van Wert this afternoon.  It's only 120 miles away, so I'm afraid that I'm starting to get a little soft.

Last night was another big night of Ragin' Live, topped off by a fantastic train whistle performance by Samantha Daggett Superstar!  The crowd was very happy, but that's to be expected, since we were listening to the incomparable RHONDA VINCENT and the RAGE in the great state of OHIO.  What could possibly be better?

I couldn't understand exactly what everyone was yelling at RHONDA, but there was one particular comment which most of us obviously misunderstood.  Fortunately, the legendary Hunter Berry was able to explain to the audience that the gentleman had merely said, "You have a nice bus".

It was a great show featuring many of the world's best bluegrass bands.  RHONDA VINCENT and the RAGE played a fantastic show (of course) which lasted until shortly after midnight.  At 1:00 AM, she was still outside her nice bus signing autographs.

The MACC is a fantastic festival in a big, beautiful park, and it supports a very worthy cause, St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis.  If you ever get a chance to attend this event, I would definitely encourage you to do so.  You'll be glad that you did.

Special thanks to Maxine and Howard Forsythe of beautiful Guernsey County, OHIO for setting me up with a second row seat!
Last night was amazing! Thanks again, Rhonda, for everything... even though I completely embarrassed myself. That was the best birthday present EVER! But, I don't know.... Bananaphone might have pushed it over the top.... haha

Sami.. You were GREAT last night... I was in the crowd and my partner snapped a few pics of you up on the stage.  Looked for you afterwards but didn't see you anywhere.

Ya need to come back tonight or tomorrow and look me up at our table near the back gate.

P.S.   Rhonda was AWESOME last night... as always!
Hey Roger! I would love to see those pictures sometime.. mom tried to take some but couldn't figure out how to use the zoom, so they didn't turn out very well. I wish I could come back tonight, but mom had to be back in Parkersburg for work today. Hope you have a good time though, I'm sure you will
Sami, that is SO COOL!!   What a great way to spend your birthday!  I can't wait to see the pictures from this historic event.
