Weeeellll.......... that was fun!!!!!!!!! Here in Long Beach had a good rock and roll for about 30 seconds or so....and I'm on the 8th floor of our bldg that is on rollers.    Haven't felt many of the aftershocks, and haven't heard of any major damage or injuries.......... wonder who else on the Left Coast felt it!!???

Oh WOW!!!  Hope you're doing well.

Is your building really on rollers???

Maybe they were just moving it for cleaning???

Yup...really on rollers... and not the kind to do your hair with!! I'm sure some fine MALE engineer came up with that idea!! Let's just mess with people for awhile, then have the building fall to the ground.... Only kidding! It really intensifies the earthquake .. long after the earthquake is done, this darn building is still moving. So, we're feeling this thing for 30 to 45 seconds, and it was only 15 seconds.... just wild! Have had a bunch of after shocks, but not really felt where I am... I'm sure closer to the epicenter they're still getting to rock and roll..... as opposed to just hanging out in the "Bluegrass"... oh, that was soooooo wrong!

Yep, we had an earthquake... or so I hear. I did not feel a thing, I'm very disappointed to say, because I was driving. Typically, unless the quake is really severe, you cannot feel it if you are on the road. Two of my employees who were working in a high rise, called to tell me that they had been evacuated because of the earthquake. My response was "What earthquake?"  My dissappointment about the earthquake was definitely overcome by the thrill of getting to go see Del McCoury, Ricky Scaggs and Emmylou Harris at the Orange County Fair last night. It was outstanding but I'm exhausted. And, I did call AmY and rub it in that I was lounging in the bluegrass! Sorry, Craze, couldn't resist.

I was on the beach in San Diego and I didn't feel anything, either.  I always miss all of the fun.

Charlie, it was exactly five years ago that I made my only visit to the Orange County Fair to see the sensational RHONDA VINCENT and the RAGE, along with Dr. Ralph and the CMBs.  That was my very first extended Ragin' adventure, which also included shows at Humphrey's By The Bay in San Diego, Maverick's Saloon in Santa Ynez, the Paso Robles Fair, and the Buck Owens Crystal Palace in Bakersfield.

Everyone thought that I was some kind of crazy stalker to go see the same band five straight times, especially since some of those shows were over 200 miles from my home.  You want crazy?  I'll show you crazy!

Speaking of Humphrey's, Emmylou will be there tomorrow and Dolly on Friday.  If you have a boat, you can pull up right beside the stage and see the show for free.  I guess it's time to clean out the garage and look for that rubber raft.  See you there!

I'll do it, Rhonda.  I offered to sing a Trio with them, but haven't heard back yet.  Of course, that was 30 years ago, so I'm starting to wonder if they found someone else.
