Oh how we enjoyed Rhonda and the Rage at Bill's Pickin Parlor in Columbia SC. I have been a fan of Rhonda for several years now but had never had the chance to see her except for on you tube until Sunday April 5, 2009. What an uplifting experience. My husband and myself along with a friend were able to sit on the second row and enjoy the awesome sounds of our favorite bluegrass music. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us. We have been truly blessed to be able to be in the midst of people who love you so much. Linda and Whitey oh they have so much knowledge of Rhonda and it was awesome to hear them tell their personal stories(sorry for eaves dropping but I just couldn't help it. My husband and I have been able to do some of your gospel numbers in church and oh how our congregation loves them. We will be doing "Walking My Lord up Calvary's Hill this Sunday for Easter what a song with a message. I hope I can do it justice on the vocals. Thanks for sharing with us Rhonda and we hope to see you again soon. Praying for you fervently Peggy Banks
Hi Peggy!! Thanks so much for coming to the show.
It was a fun day at Bill's Pickin' Parlor. Great hospitality, and extreme bluegrass fans, which makes it intensely fun for us. We'll be singing "Walking My Lord Up Calvary's Hill" for our Easter Presentation on the Midnight Jamboree. Great song. Hope to see you again soon!!
we really enjoyed ourselves at the afternoon show as well.you and your band really compliment each other well and it was so refreshing to hear all those gospel songs you played during the second set.i only wish i could have stayed around for the the evening show as well.
thank you so much for signing my cd after the show and taking time to chat with my wife and i.shes not a big fan of bluegrass music but i think yesterday changed her mind quite a bit.my older brothers and sisters were deadheads and one of my favorite cds growing up was "old and in the way" and your show made me think of all those great songs.i'll have to see if i can get you to play something off that album the next time you come to columbia. thanks for the great day of music, have fun on the rest of your tour and i hope to see you again soon. god bless, bobby in SC
