| #1 | We are just now leaving the Ryman Auditorium. After the Willie Nelson concert, we walked to Roberts Western Wear for a delicious Robert's burger, only to find Chris Scruggs performing with an All-Star Band, that included "Bass Player of the Year" Mike Bub, the Legendary Buddy Spicher, Andy from the "Time Jumpers", Kenny Vaughn from Marty Stuarts "Superlatives", and a steel player, I don't know that I heard his name; along with special guest Gail Davies.
My eyes are so heavy, I'm hoping to post the Willie photos.
If I don't tonight...you HAVE know that we had the BEST time opening for Willie. We were an introduction to bluegrass for many; as we found out visiting with many in attendance. Willie was so kind, and allowed to take photos to share. Thanks Willie...for a night to remember! Good Night!

| #3 | Sounds like it was a FANTASTIC night. They couldn't have had a better group to give them an introduction to Bluegrass. Try to get some sleep. We can wait till later this morning to see the pics. BUT, I bet you won't be able to sleep until you have that little job done.

| #5 | AWESOME!! I'm glad everything went well!
Chris Scruggs is AMAZING and he always has a killer group of musicians with him when he plays at Robert's. I'm surprised he wasn't playing steel. I hear he is an unreal steel guitar player. Robert's is such a great place for REAL country music in Nashville!
Safe Travels! |
