Thank you for the B-day wishes ... that is very nice
I had a good 45th ... had dinner with family, had two home made cakes (sour cream coffee cake and chocolate banana ... yummo!), went to an ancient Egyptian artifact exhibit, and spent a phenomenal evening at a Claire Lynch concert, and took a nap or two 
Some people get all tore up about getting older, but I actually enjoy it.
1) the gray hair is a sign that my years on earth have been educational in nature, and that I have learned more than those younger than me. I am proud of every one I have on my head ... at least my hair is still on my head, thank the good Lord
2) my wrinkles are there because I have laughed often and often too much ... it ain't no sin to be happy and let it show in a few lines on the face.
3) the trips to the doctor might increase some, but you know, he just wants to make sure I am alive another 45 years ... hopefully more. So seeing him more is just OK with me 
4) another year of life means another year God has blessed me with breathing, a beating heart, eyes that see, and ears to hear. While Steph and I may not have everything we want, we have exactly what we need and that is more of a blessing ... it is what God has for us.

I'm a little weathered myself. 
Glad you had a great day. Sounds like every day is a great one for you. More people need to have the same attitude towards life, and there would less worrying, and more smiles.
