Good Morning Rhonda , Julia and ALL Rager's.

All the Rager's may have forgotten me . I haven't posted in a very long time.
I got very sick on December 15th, with chills and fever. I thought maybe I had the flu. I ate nothing for 3 days. I kept getting worse , my breathing was not good , I could barely get out of bed. My husband called 911 and I was in the ER. I had a massive infection, dehydrated, and had pneumonia. They gave me a strong antibiotic and sent me home.
I kept getting worse. My brother in-law is an RN and the Medical Center. He came by and checked on me . I was not good at all and he was very upset that they didn't admit me to the hospital. He started calling Doctors and the ER and I was admitted immediately. They started doing scans and found out the cancer had returned. A tumor was pressing against my lungs and one had collapsed.
They started my first chemo treatment on Christmas Eve night. I was in the hospital until after New Year's.
I have been on oxygen all this time .
I can now stay off it for at least 2 hours at a time now.
The tumor has shrunk and I feel much better . I have been taking 3 rounds of chemo at a time . After tomorrow I will  just be on one.  I feel bad and have no energy . I am hoping after that I will get my energy back and feel much better. The chemo destroys my red and white blood cells so I have to go back the next day and get shots for that .  I have missed everyone, I have a lot to catch up on in Rageland.

My precious niece Vickie lost her battle with cancer . She passed away March 8th.
this was almost unbearable for me . I miss her so much but know she is in a better place to suffer no more.

A dear friend of mine lost her battle on March 4th.

I pray all are doing well, God Bless Everyone.

Rhonda ! you are still my most favorite artist.

Hi Louise,

I will keep you in my prayers.  My dad had lung cancer in March 2004 and lost the battle but he won a bigger victory when he went back Home.  Don't be afraid and don't get discouraged.  You are doing a lot better than my dad did as he lost the battle within a month after being diagnosed.  Prayer is how we will help you get through this.

God Bless You.

Hi Louise. I haven't signed on for a while on this board. Something brought me here tonight. I think it was U Louise. Louise, I am a two time cancer survivor. When I first had the C in 1990, my doctor said to me " you will hear a lot of horror stories, but there are more success stores than horror stories." I did hear the horror stories, and I am here to encourage you on your path to a wonderful recovery. I care.

You know Louise. This R & the Rage are a class act, but I know that you know that already. How many, again how many, artist would take the time to reply to your message as a fan?  I, as one is, impressed. You go GIRL. You are special to so many people. You can beat this, stay postive, because I am.

Thank you for the condolences for my Vickie and my friend.
One day before they passed , it happened that we each had our chemo treatments at the same time . We laughed and talked and had the best day together. In two weeks they were both gone from my sight but never from my heart.

Sweet Courtney! Thank you so very much for all your kind words.
You are a very special lady. Thank you dear one for your prayers and I know I can beat this once again. I pray all in your life is going great.

Megaroo! THANK YOU so much for the prayers. Have a sweet day.

Vito! so very sorry for the loss of your Dad. Yes! he is in a better home to never suffer again , but we still miss them so much here.
I don't have lung cancer , I have breast C. it came back this time in the form of a inoperable tumor and  was pressing against my lung which caused it to callasp. My lung is getting much better . Thank you for all your kind words and prayers.

Cecilia! I am so sorry you had to suffer with the dreaded C.
THANK GOD !!! you are one of the many survivor's.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006 had a lumpectomy at this time.
It came back almost a year to the date and that time I had a mastectomy.
This time I almost made it two years. They didn't catch it in time , so I had a rough time on this one but I am doing so much better day by day.
Thank you dear one for all the encouragement and prayers. I will be praying for you as well for your continued good health . You are a precious soul for caring. God Bless and protect you always.
